Human Rights Awareness cycle rally in New York City

Madhesh Human Rights, a human rights organization based in USA, Association of Nepali Teraian in America (ANTA), and other sister Madheshi Diaspora in USA are jointly organizing a Human Rights awareness cycle rally in New York City to get attention of New York citizens, American Government, International leaders,United Nations including International Human Rights bodies towards the human rights violation happening in Madhesh (Southern plain of Nepal).

Marginalized communities, including Madhesis, are protesting to protect their rights in the newly promulgated constitution. The protest is going on for 120 days in which more than 50 people have been killed and more than thousands are injured. Nepali police are using brutal force, live ammunition and expired tear gas to control the protest. According to the Human Rights Watch report, police has been shooting directly at head indiscriminately. Women and children are being attacked by the police inside their houses, hospitals, and schools.

We would like to invite you to Cycle Rally program. Please help us raise our plea to New York citizens, American Government, International leaders, United Nations including International Human Rights bodies towards the human rights violation happening in Madhesh (Southern plain of Nepal). Square, UN Building, and Macy’s Herald Square Park
